One Down!
It must have been the Wheaties that I had for breakfast because somehow, during all the busyness of the day, I managed to complete one project for my The Office Swap (don't continue if you're my partner)!
I used the Note To Self fabric that I recently ordered to make a notebook cover:

On this project, I just sort of 'winged' the pattern and I used my least favorite material, Timtex, to give this notebook structure! Some features that I added to this notebook was a pocket on the front (to hold an official Office pen), a triangluar 'pocket' on the inside to hold business cards or miscellaneous items, and a finished 'slit' in the fabric so the cardboard back of the mini legal pad (which has a photo of the cast on it) can be tucked inside so the notepad doesn't fall out.
Overall, I'm extremely pleased with how this project turned out - plus, I have enough fabric left over to make some other fun projects!

Whoa! That was fast! Maybe I should start eating Wheaties for breakfast.
I only recently began watching The Office - can you believe it? My son was telling me about it and he said the humor was so dry that he didn't understand why it wasn't my favorite tv show! The dry humor won me over. I do have a good excuse though, I rarely watch any television because DH is a news junkie and the set is usually turned to those channels.

The notebook set is so perfect!
If you want to save some time and avoid Timtex it is easy to make fabric "slipcovers" for store-bought notebooks, binders, photo albums, etc. Dollar stores and craft chains often have such items.
