Let The Crafting Begin
Partners have already been posted for The Office swap and sometime this weekend my partner for the Once You Pop Holiday Edition swap will be announced as well (did I ever mention that I joined a third swap???? The bonus side to this one is that you 'have to' eat a can of Pringles in order to have a can to put you goodies into). With all this swap madness that I have going on, my creative juices have really been flowing - now to find the time this weekend to get started. Between company, football games, driving Taylor to parties, and hair appointments, it's looking as if my crafting time this weekend is slowing deteriorating. So with limited sewing time at the moment, I'm anxious to hear what everyone else is working on - or at least your plans for their weekend!

I am currently working on some Christmas gifts - I always tell myself that I am going to start early and then I won't be so stressed out as the holiday approaches, it never quite works out that way though! Enjoy your busy weekend!

There were SOOOO many great possibilities for this weekend - a two-day Pop-up bookmaking class, a formal Vienna Waltz Ball at a lovely museum, swing dances, etc. But the hubster is out of town on business and so I am taking advantage of the time to clean/baby-proof a big house (that has never contained a baby) because my little grandbaby will be in town with his parents for a wedding next weekend!
At least you will be starting with a fresh house! That is definitely the way to do it. I have no idea where I am going to stash everything that he could otherwise get into at 19 months of age! The closets are already pretty full. haha.

Well, I got my Halloween Mini Swap package completed and shipped. I also made my son's Halloween mask and hat. He is Mario and I think I came up with an awesome mask. You can see it all on my Flickr Stacy. Now I'm going to finish a new shower curtain for my son's bathroom, I am redoing his bathroom. Then a trick or treating bag made with some Nintendo fabric I found. Too perfect.

DH has worked 2nd shift all week and DD was at a slumber party so I worked all night Friday on pj's for DD (McCall's 4979). Got up early to sew a little more then off to a friend's house for a Girl's crafting day - made some thank you cards.
Have a great weekend!
