Dwight Bag

After talking to my Office Swap partner a bit, I discovered that she desprately wanted a messenger bag.

Of cours,e since this is an Office themed swap and she is a huge fan of Dwight as well. I came up with this:

First off, let me say finding images that are large enough to produce a good print is almost impossible to find. However, after searching for 30 or so minutes I stumbled across a very large one of Dwight, sitting at his desk, his calculator incased in Jello - Perfect! I printed this off on the June Tailor fabric sheets that I used for this tote.

As for the rest of the messenger, I settled on using the now out of print Amy Butler messenger bag. I felt more comfortable using this one since I've sewn it up several times now and have always had good results. For the fabrics, I chose a blue corduroy (it felt very fallish and I think will hold up welll) and a pretty, gold Amy Butler paisley.

Now with two craft items down, I only have one more to go! Of course, I like this bag so much, I may have to make one for myself now.

I almost missed out on this swap - someone had pointed it out to me after they saw my Craftster avatar (which is Dwight).
