New Top
A trip out of town usually means a new 'wardrobe'. Since I didn't have quite enough time to make more than one outfit, I decided on making one. Simplicity 3882:

I love this tank! I made a few changes to this particular top - the biggest one is the omition of the bubble hem. I also shortened the straps (which the instructions did not call for) and took in the sides a bit (about 3/4" on each side).
The fabric itself is some that I purchased back in June at Needle Nook and has been stashed away ever since. Since I didn't make the bubble hem on top, I have lots of fabric left over for another project. I'll be posting a longer review on Pattern Review once I get back home.
Don't forget today is the last day of the Amazon Gift Card contest. I'll be closing comments in that thread at midnight (CST) tonight!

You are super-fast at sewing! The top looks great on you. Lovely colors. I do like the bubble hem on the dress-length version - but who needs a bubble at their waist or hips!? Ha-ha. If you have enough fabric(s), maybe you can make a bubble-hem skirt?

I also meant to say that I really, really like the fabric combo, too.

Now I just love that! I think I could wear that because there's not too much fabric in it. That was a great idea to take off the bubble hem. You can even layer that under a fitted jacket for fall and it would just be too cute!

Girl if you can't wear a bubble hem top, WHO CAN?? Darling top...
When I got to the homepage and my name was at the top, I was like "What motorcycle?" LOL. Angelina needs to eat a cheeseburger. Bless her heart.
