More Pattern Releases
Well they did it again - Hot Patterns released two new patterns today and I'm drooling over both. The first is the Deco Vibe Carrie-d Away Skirt Suit inspired by the movie Sex and the City and Dior's 2008 Cruise Collection (I wouldn't mind making this one up for the Skirt Sew Along Contest). The second pattern pays homage to Yves Saint Laurent who passed earlier this month - Metropolitan Homage Tote. I am seriously considering this one as well - which gives me an excuse to purchase some of Fabric Mart's designer skins.
What new patterns would you like to add to your collection?

It's not the most user-friendly store (okay, it's about the least user-friendly store), but you get to actually look at the stuff, and feel it, which can be important with leather. You can take your pattern pieces to lay them out and make sure everything's going to fall right.
Plus, they have a seriously impressive selection of hardware... it's the only place I know of local to find solid D-rings, things like that. Makes me want to learn how to make tack, every time I go in there, and I don't even ride horses.

Not so much a pattern, as a store: I'd like to add a Joann's to my neighbourhood so I could get myself to a pattern sale. Pattern sales happen so rarely in the UK...
I've wanted simplicity 4072 for such a long time now it feels out of date :)
