We're Home

Hi everyone! We're home and everyone is doing well! We're settling in (of course no sewing, although I'm growing a list of more burp cloths and blankets are definitely in order) and attempting to get used to a new routine. But I thought that I would first share one of Eastons first photos:

I'm working on a post for tomorrow with lots of links! In the mean time, I'd love to hear what everyone else is working on.

Oh! Goody! I get to be the FIRST to say how extremely cute he is...and since we all know that newborns are often not necessarily, really cute,...Easton really is! Look forward to more photos when the immediacy of newborn parenting isn't so, well, immediate!

How sweet! I can't believe you are actually posting, but I'm glad you did.

I am smocking a bishop dress, and we are working on laying hardwood floors in our dinning room.

I can't wait to see more pictures.

He is super-cute; love that little mouth! I agree with everyone that you are AMAZING to be posting at all. Thanks for thinking of *us* but make sure you get your rest, too!

I wasn't going to but i bought a few yards of half-price fabric when I was picking up a few 99 cent patterns at Hancock's this week. Now I feel obligated to sew it up soon instead of holding on to it for awhile. It's a black, low-sheen taffeta embroidered all over with 3/8 inch, hot pink dots. Halter neck swing dress is what I plan.

He is so cute! How are you managing with a newborn, posting and thinking about sewing? I have a bunch of projects lined up and I still can't seem to get them moving. Good luck and I look forward to seeing more pics of Easton. Hope the rest of the family is doing well.
