Lots (and lots) of Photos
It seems like there's lots of stuff that I need to show off - so today's post is picture heavy!
First, there's lots of handmade baby goodies:
Some beautiful burp cloths made my by Chickpea Sewing:

They are so pretty, I almost hate having to use them! If you're wanting a set for yourself, she recently put up a tutorial for these cuties on her site.
This baby blanket was crocheted by my Aunt Karen. She's been working on it for quite some time and was worried that she wouldn't get it finished before this baby came. Little did everyone know that this little guy seem very cozy in there and doesn't seem to want to come out (tomorrow is my 'due date' and I'm not feeling like he's leaving anytime soon!):

Lastly is a crochet blanket and an adorable embroidered shirt and short set made by Sherri. She also made Taylor a relaxation pillow (that scented with lavender), but it never made it into the photo - Taylor took off with it before I could take pictures:

On a side note, Sherri is headed off to the big AQS quilt show in Paducah, Kentucky in just a few days. I told her that she needs to take lots of photos so I can post them to the site - I understand this is an amazing place to be!
Now the sewing goodies:
First off, I am so excited - I won! Ann was giving away a number of Patrones and Modellina magazines that she had stashed away in her sewing room and I just happened to eek in the correct answer to win one:

I've already picked out a few items from this issue that I wouldn't mind making, but first, I've got to determine what post-pregnancy size I'll wind up before I get started.
Lastly, a bit of retail fabric therapy!

It's been awhile since I've had the chance to visit Needle Nook Fabrics - so yesterday, I dropped by the store and, of course, did not leave empty handed! I wound up with a black matte jersey (I'm thinking of using for McCall 5586), some lilac slinky (for McCall 5575), a white 'designer' knit that has a textured floral weave that doesn't show in the photo well (which may possibly become Jalie 2682), and a slinky print that I couldn't resist (it reminds me of something Chico's might make into cute pair of pants or summery dress). By the way, if you're looking for some Jalie patterns - Needle Nook now carries them!
I also hit up Joann's (not photo this time) where I purchased some rhinestones (to embellish the yolk of McCall 5586) and McCall 5142 - the perfect fit jeans. I've read a few reviews on this pattern and am really interested in eventually giving it a whirl. Does anyone else have experience with this pattern?

Who ISN'T checking your blog daily to see if Easton has manifested himself yet? Isn't technology a hoot...having people you've never met, scattered all over the country awaiting the appearance of your child!?
