Picture Heavy

It appears that the internet is finally cooperating this morning! So, I'm going to cut to the chance ans start posting all those photos I promised yesterday.

The weather this winter has been absolutely horrible - in the 13 1/2 years we've lived here, this is probably the coldest and snowiest that we've seen (guess what we're getting tomorrow, more snow!). Consequently, getting an outside shot of the house has been next to impossible, but we finally had a few nice days that melted off most of the ice, snow, and hail (yes, we had hail in February!), so I was able to take a picture of the house - completed! Unfortunately, the back is still too muddy to take a shot, maybe that will happen this spring???

I am happy to report that we are officially unpacked, the blinds (and some pictures) are up, and the window treatments are hung. I do believe we are 'settled'! That, of course, means I've had a bit more time to sew. Since I can't reveal my finished projects I'll give you some teasers instead. I've had a great time working on these projects and testing out my new machine!

Not having to deal with so many house issues (it will start up again this spring when we put in the yard and landscaping) also means I've had time to bake! Just in time for Valentines, I whipped up some red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing. YUM!

Last, but not least, a belly shot (I'm HUGE!!!):

It's hard to believe that this baby will be here in 9 weeks!

You don't look huge to me! Sounds like you have plenty of energy. With my boy, I was sick the entire pregnancy!

What a beautiful house!!! I'd love to have a triple car garage too since a double car garage really doesn't hold two cars - it's one car and a whole lotta junk! LOL

Cute belly shot, I'd hardly say you're huge tho. Only 9 weeks - how exciting!!! :-)

Everything and everyone is looking very good!

What a nice, big driveway for maybe a future basketball hoop.

I guess I should not complain about our bit of ice that caused delays last night and this morning. It's the only bad weather thing that's hit us so far this season. I grew up in Chicago but I am becoming such a weather wimp.

Very nice house, I agree love the 3-car garage. We had hail, too, on Super Bowl Sunday. Unbelievable. Have fun sewing and your cupcakes look so yummy. You aren't huge at all, take care of yourself

Congratulations on your home and getting unpacked before the baby comes. I know how it is.... I've done the new home and new baby combo twice!!! You don't look that big for only 9 more weeks to go. I'm only 18 weeks and I swear I'm bigger than you. (But this is my 4th... I hope that's the reason). Those cupcakes look yummy!!

Documenting the tummy is such a nice idea. Wish I had done it!

Those Calvins!!!! The object of my lust all through 8th grade. I would have given anything for a pair. I did have a lovely woman sew some for me, though!! I loved them so much that recently I even looked up and rebought the pattern on Ebay.
