Work Day
After several days of not being able to visit my sewing room, I'm so excited that I'll be able to spend some time with my machines today. I've declared this Monday a 'work day' and several projects will be crossed off my list. And while I can't show you the finished product of everything I sew (at least not yet), I'll give you a teaser by showing you some of the yummy fabrics that I'll be using:

Now off to get in some sewing therapy!

I picked up that print at a local quilt shop - it's from Anna Marie Horner's Chocolate Lollipop collection (I love all the prints in that collection!)

I would guess several of us are in an apron-making mood!
Last week, while at Stone Mountain & Daughter in Berkeley, I bought the new "Decades of Style" 1940's bib apron pattern (heart-shaped pocket) plus a cheery floral print cotton. I still need matching binding though. so I'll hit the next sale, wherever it is.
( I always tell myself I will make my own binding, but then wimp out most of the time!)
