Almost There
Ahhhh, things around here are finally starting to feel 'settled'. Bret did lots of installing over the weekend (we have blinds on all but two windows which are leaving to the 'experts' since they are PITAs to hang) and put together some furniture. I've managed to put away everything that's been in boxes (minus all the ones for Taylor's room as her bedroom furniture still hasn't arrived) and started organizing the baby's room - now if I could only find a glider rocker I like that doesn't cost $500 (why are they so expensive?)!
Now, I'm starting to find more time to do sewing and getting back 'into the swing of things'. Yesterday, I went to Hancock fabrics and picked up Vogue 8466 (to create the Naea bag knockoff) and two McCalls (they were 5 for $5) - 5586 (which reminds me of some of the spring tops that I've been seeing at Express) and 3697 (because I'm a sucker for cute hooded towels). I also broke down and ordered Amy Butler's Nappy Bag (thanks to everyone who answered all my questions on this pattern). Today, I plan on finishing up my Kwik Sew top and possibly start a second! Look for the finished review tomorrow....

i agree! glider rockers are insanely priced! you might want to hunt on craigslist or ebay.. y'never know? or ohhhh! even freecycle might have what you want ( you might just get lucky, I had a gal GIVE me a $700 eliptical machine she only used twice! )
