Even More New Fabrics.....
You probably thought I was done with 'new' fabrics after yesterday's post..... Well, my Fabric Mart order finally arrived (placed in late December) yesterday and even though I felt like I waited forever (the holiday's really messed up shipping times), it was well worth it - I love my purchases:

In this shipment I received a juvenile cotton print (I'm thinking I'll use most of this with Amy Butler's Big Nap Pillow), a silk jacquard tuxedo pattern (I'm thinking it would make a gorgeous bag), a khaki t-shirt knit (more brown that what I expected), a navy wool melton (it looks more black to me), an embroidered faux suede (more gorgeous in person than what it looked like on the website), and a great Maggy London jersey print. The only thing I'd like to add now is some knit juvenile prints for a few baby clothes. Now to stop talking about the new fabrics and get to sewing them!

Great minds think alike, y'all. I just ordered that Maggy London print yesterday! Would be great for New Look 6429, I think. Is the fabric as nice as it looks, Stacy?

Stacy, I just thought you'd be curious to see that Maggy London print we both bought made into something - I have pictures on my most recent post.
