Vintage
I've never sewn from a vintage pattern before, but thanks to Sarah, I've got two to work with! Unfortunately, I'm having camera difficulties, so the photo of what the patterns look like will have to wait until my computer guru (Bret) arrives home (I have found an online link to one of the patterns which might help instead!).
The first pattern Simplicity 7120 is a really classic sheath dress style which I just adore. I can see making this one up in a variety of fabrics to give really different looking results. The second pattern McCall 9228 is another dress style with two different neck variations (scoop neck or a mini mock turtleneck for lack of a better word), a choice of sleeveles or sleeved versions, and an optional belt.
Both of these patterns look fun to make - I can see how people get addicted to buying vintage styles! Thanks so much Sarah for getting me started!

I want to take an old long wool coat and update it! I want it to resemble those geat vintage 60's swing coats.
