Back To School
Summer is officially over - Taylor started back to school this morning. As you can tell from the photo, she's excited to go back.... new school, new clothes, new teacher, and for the first time ever - lockers!
So while she's gone this morning, I plan on tidying up the house, baking some brownies (a good back to school dessert), and working on the Jalie Crossover tops - I now have all the material cut and it's ready to go. Since there aren't any projects to share yet, how about some links instead?
These Bangle Bracelets are absolutely adorable and looks so easy to make. I'm going to have to find some cute papers and make my own versions. [link via Thimble]

Taylor is just so cute! What will you do with all your spare time now? :)
Love the reading pillow pattern and I saw those bangles too. Do you ever watch "B. Original" on DIY (this is the chick that can even make her own clogs! Nobody should be that talented.)? Anyway, she had a segment a while back on doing something similar with bangles. I think they're fun!

Love Taylor's back-to-school look! (Kinda makes me wish I was suiting up for school again.)
Brownies were my "birthday cake" earlier this week!

After first thinking, why can't school start that early here on the East Coast - there is a teenager here that I am just dying for her to go back to school - my next thought was, my how grown up Taylor looks! She is blossoming into a beautiful young lady. You should be so proud Stacy!

Did you make Talors' outfit?
I think I saw something like it at Walmart, my dd who is 6 asked if I could make that for her...
I love to sew, but I don't always get the results that I want to see!
