Nuts: With A Twist
Yesterday afternoon, I met with a fellow Wichitan, Sherri, and we ventured out to a new yarn shop called Twist. Talk about eye candy - there were walls and racks of beautiful yarn everywhere!
After browsing the store for quite some time, I decided on an interesting skein called Confusion. They had made a sample scarf from one ball and it looked as if it had been made using 5-7 different kinds of yarns - it was so beautiful that I couldn't help but try it out (and considering that I haven't graduated from knitting scarfs, this seemed like a perfect project for me). Now if I can just dig though the boxes for my circular needles!
On the way home we stopped by one of our favorite treat stops - The Nifty Nut House. I've got a whole pound of wasabi peas to munch on while I decide what my next project will be!

The yarn shop is called Twist and is 602 W. Douglas in Wichita (in the Delano district).
