Happy 4th!
Happy 4th of July to everyone that celebrates it! Today will be spent shooting off some fireworks, further destroying a galvanized bucket (did you know that if you had a bucket filled with water and dropped 2 'water dynamites' into it that you could crack a hole into the bucket? neither did I), grilling out, and swatting mosquitos.
But before all that.... I'm heading out to Joann's sale (just in case it does rain tonight like the weatherman predicts) to load up on supplies. I'm also going to check out the sale on McCall's patterns while I'm there - the new fall catalog is up and there are a couple of styles that caught my eye.
What's everyone's plans for today?

There has been a delay in the laptop buying. Blah, Office Depot & their bait & switch. Soooooo I had expected to be working on getting that set up. Instead we are going to our friends house in Abq later for a bbq & fireworks. Also I will also have to make John's friend help me pick a new laptop. Dell maybe, I hate it cause I never know what I need/want & am always afraid that there will be something that I should have gotten or add something that I will never need. sigh!
So what patterns are you looking at from McCalls?

Happy 4th everyone. I just wanted to point out that while you are at Joann's be sure to check out their buttons. While I was shopping today it caught my eye that half the aisle of buttons have clearance stickers on them....some really great deals. What's more exciting is this means they are getting a bunch of new buttons soon! I did notice that la mode had a vintage line out with some very nice ones, all full price though.
