New Knitting Products
It's been awhile since I've knitted anything - I found that it can seriously cut into my sewing time. But today I found two new cool products that may get me knitting again. The first one is, Jelly Yarns. It looks to be made of the same material that those Jelly shoes from the '80's were made out of, but fashioned into cool stuff like purses and belts. I must make one of those purses, even if it means that I'll have to purchase some metal needles (I like the plastic Lion Brand ones) and grease them down. The next one is called Glow Yarn. I have no idea what I would make from the stuff, but it is so cool!
UPDATE: Well it looks like Kathleen Greco (the maker of Jelly Yarn) has a book out too, Yummy Yarns, which includes the instructions to the Jelly Purse and other cool novely knit projects. Needless to say, I'm ordering this one, immediately. I wonder if you could substitute plastic craft lace for the jelly yarn?

If you wind up getting Jelly Yarn before I do - please let me know how it works for you! I've very excited to use it.
On a side note, I wound up looking for that craft lace stuff. I've decided that's just not going to work. DRAT!
