Spring Break

You wouldn't know it by looking at the weather forcast, but it's Taylor's Spring Break this week. Supposedly, by the end of the day tomorow, we'll be seeing 3-5 inches of snow on the ground. I guess that's better than western Kansas who can see around 18 inches!

Since it's spring break, I suppose that I won't get much sewing done. Instead, Taylor was sent home with quite a bit of homework (since when did spring break, not become a break from school?) to do, we're 'spring cleaning', catching a 'chick flick' (She's The Man), and maybe painting some pottery at one of those crafty\pottery type stores.

Tonight, I have my Shattered Glass class - I'm anxious to see how everyone's blocks look and come together. I'm also looking forward to 3 hours of sewing time! If I can get myself unpacked from my class, I may also start of the tiered skirt. Everything has been cut out now. I'll post pictures when our main computer is back up and running.

I'm also frequenting the http://hotpatterns.com/ site this week! With rumors of their new collection comming out (maybe casual clothing?) I'm anxious to see what they've come up with.
