New Fabric List
Well, it appears that our internet is once again functional (way to go Bret for fixing it before the cable guy!) so I can finally get down to posting my new fabric purchases!
Beware this entry has lots of photos!
My Wazoodle order arrived Wednesday. In addition to my Jalie pattern I got this RPL print:

I had my eye on this fabric since New Years, but didn't act quick enough and poof...it was gone! As soon as it appeared on their site again, I snatched up 2 yards of it. I haven't decided what exactly I want to do with it, but I'm sure that I'll find something soon.
My Fabric Mart order arrived yesterday - it was 29 pounds of fun delivered by the UPS man! In this order I bought the Jones of New York black bundle ($25 for 3, 3 yard cuts of 3 different black weaves):

Yes, it looks boring from the picture, but this big roll of fabrics will eventually become some great crepe pants, a little black dress, a top (or two) that I spotted in my Burda World of Fashions and my December Patrones.
I also purchased a 10 lb. Ralph Lauren denim bundle:

This is another non-exciting looking bundle. I got 5 cuts with this one the first two are the same fabric - both slightly over 2 yards. The next cut is almost 2 yards of a blcak stretch denim. The fourth cut was a very stiff (it softened up considerably after one wash) medium blue denim that measured 1 yard 29 inches. The last one was a heavyweight denim (also very stiff, but softened after washing several times) that measured in just over 2 yards. I'm planning on using one of these for my cropped denim jacket.
Now for the fun stuff.... I picked up 2 yards of the 'abstract animal print' ($4 for 2 yards).

This turned out to be a teal and lavender stretch charmeuse. It's crazy looking, but is so soft and silky!
I also picked up a 4 pound button assortment($5). If you've never seen 4 pounds of buttons up close, let me tell you it's impressively large.

I don't think that this photo accurately captures how large this bundle is! There are a ton of buttons here - many of the gold buttons are going to be used on a cropped military style jacket that's in the new Burda Easy Fashion.
Lastly, I picked up a print bundle. I know, it's always a gamble what you're going to get with this one, but I'm really pleased with what I got ($15 for 10 yards of fabric):

Starting from the left: 3 yards of a blue linen (or linen look) print. This is the only one that I'm not crazy about. It's a nice fabric, but I don't really see myself in it. The next one is 2 3/4 yards of a pink\black border print. I was hoping to make a tiered skirt with this one, but I'm about 1/4 yard short if I want to use the entire border on the bottom. Besides, Taylor claimed this one. The 3rd print I got was a yellowish green\white fabric with large teal & black flowers. It's loud, but has a wonderful sheen and drape. I love this fabric as well. It will either become a skirt, summer dress, or some sort of tunic top. The last print is a little over 3 yards of a sheer floral print. No plans for this one yet.
I thought that this would keep me busy for awhile, but I saw that Emma One Sock is going to be getting some buttermilks and onionskins in this week. HUMMMM.......

Great fabrics from the bundles. I have not tried this except with linings over two years ago.
Now you got me thinking I might should try this.

I have to admit, I'm addicted to the fabric bundles! I think that they have definatley made the think outside the box and push me creatively. The fabric quality is very nice as well - I highly recommend them!
