Lots Of Pieces
Since I've been so conusmed with cleaning lately, I've completely neglected to mention that I've cut out my Amy Butler High Street Messenger bag.

Let me start off by saying, there are a lot of pieces to this bag - the instructions even note that there is. I just wasn't really prepared for all the cutting I was about to do. It helps if you use a rotary cutter and mat, but there is still a lot of fabric to manage. I also have a lot of lining fabric and canvas left over - either this is because I 'saved' fabric by not following the cutting layout or else I did something wrong!
If you own this pattern and haven't cut it yet, let me offer a suggestion, do this when you're mentally alert. The way the pattern pieces are designed, you use them multiple times - sometimes using the entire piece, sometimes folding a part down, sometimes using it twice for the exterior and only once for the lining. You really need to pay attention to what you're doing!
Tonight is Bret's Christmas office party. This year, we're going to see the Wichita Thunder hockey team and then go back to his boss' house for drinks and Guitar Hero. Bret's been talking so much about this game at work that everyone is anxious to see it game in action. Undoubtably, I'll have some photos to share in tomorrow's post!

Santa is leaving Guitar Hero under the tree for Miss Lauren. We are having an open house for Christmas and I have a feeling Guitar Hero will be a hot item for the adults too.
Have fun!

The tattoo fabric is just a quilting cotton weight - so it's pretty lightweight. But I just loved it so much that I couldn't pass it up!
You all are going to love guitar hero! It's horribly addictive - and if you get two guitars, you can play against each other or play cooperatively during a song on GH2.

I've started a blog...I need to add my list of favorite sites...I started on this but i'm too tired and dont want to make a mistake. I only have one current project so I did a little history of Lauren projects.

Congratulations on your blog, Amy! I'm going over there to check it out now.
I also need to add new sidebar links to my site.... I've been very lazy about doing this lately. So for those of you who have sites, but don't see yours listed - I promise that I'll sit down one day and do it!
